My Design Philosophy
Ever since I was young, I have been a kinesthetic learner, which is a fancy way to say I work and learn best when I can be hands-on. No matter the media, no matter the project, you will always find me with sheets of paper notes and sketches sprawled out on the ground as I piece together the best solution. I believe taking the physical into account is extremely valuable with design, even if it's digital.

Experience
Much of my work has been focused on independent illustration commissions that taught me early on how to communicate one-on-one with clients and bring their visions to reality. I've also worked as a print tech for Cal Poly Pomona’s art department print lab for two years and have since trained many of my coworkers in print processes. However, my first internship was actually with the Planetary Science Institute working with UVIS spectra.

Skills
I am well versed in the Adobe Creative suite, especially with Photosop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I have also used a variety of other programs, such as Clip Studio Paint, for digital illustration. I have many years of working with small-batch print production and have learned how to create and edit designs intended for both print and digital, often converting files between the two. Much of my work has been independent for a client so I have become accustomed to setting my own deadlines and tracking project progress.
